I believe the difficulty I has was that I was trying to do note making without doing note taking. By this I mean that I was trying to make notes in my editing software as I do my reading and thinking. However, I believe that due to my age, I was having difficulty holding it all in my working memory. Also because I am suffering from a sort of memory loss, meaning I forget things easily. I discovered that I needed to take notes with pencil and paper, (and not pen), prior to typing it into my editing software. Furthermore, I needed to take notes and then make notes from the material I gathered. Unfortunately, this resulted in my Learning Portfolio containing a large amount of reference material that I gathered during my note taking, with my note making included among these. So unfortunately, my note making in my Learning Portfolio is contaminated with the notes I have taken. Thank you for understanding.
